Stender to Continue Push for Change on Final Day of Campaign

FANWOOD – Continuing with the momentum from Saturday’s rally with President Bill Clinton, Linda Stender will vote tomorrow in her hometown of Fanwood and hold an election night party in Clark at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. “We have only one more day before we end the past eight years of failure under George Bush and bring the change our families need,” said Stender. “I’m running for Congress to bring change and a new direction for our country, and to ensure a better future for our children and grandchildren. I look forward to joining fellow New Jerseyans in celebrating Barack Obama’s victory, and am excited to join him in Congress as we begin the long, hard process of restoring access to the American Dream for everyone. We must work to repair our economy that’s in shambles and restore trust on Wall Street, provide affordable healthcare for every American, fight for true energy independence and finally, bring our troops home from Iraq safely, honorably and soon.”
